Born in Ukraine to a mechanical engineer and self-made artist father and a hairstylist mother extraordinaire, one could argue I was destined to do something great with my hands. Surprisingly, it was quite the opposite at first. My collegiate days led me to the career I thought I wanted since I was young, clinical psychology. It took one communications course my senior year to change the trajectory of my life as I knew it. Two bachelors and a master's degree later, I went feet first into the world of digital marketing and haven’t looked back. Since then, my life has evolved with the addition of two pit-mix rescues and twin girls. Organized chaos is the game, and Maria is my name.
